While Groovebook services are ending, you can find many photo book options and offers at Shutterfly. We made the tough decision to discontinue Groovebook services. We are committed to helping you with your account and orders. You can use the app to place orders for new books or reorder old books through April 8, 2022. While Groovebook services are ending, you can find many photo book options at Shutterfly.

What happens to my photos on Groovebook after April 8, 2022?

The Groovebook app does not store customer photos, it only uses the photos stored on mobile devices to create and print Groovebook projects.

How do I access my Groovebook photos in my Shutterfly or Snapfish account?

The Groovebook app does not store customer photos, it only uses the photos stored on mobile devices to create and print Groovebook projects. We recommend uploading photos to the Shutterfly app for free and unlimited photo storage.

How do I order copies of old books?

To order copies of old books contact [email protected]. Reprints cost $3.99 plus tax per book. Any unused credits will be automatically applied.

How do I redeem gift or promo codes for free books? 

Any gift codes that you have remaining in your account will automatically be applied to the next book that you make. For example, if you have three Gift Credits and can make three books through April 8th all three books will be produced and shipped at no cost to you.

How do I cancel my subscription? 

Cancel your subscription at any time by clicking the Account icon at the bottom of the app screen, and then selecting the Subscription tab. Click Cancel Subscription at the bottom to cancel your subscription. If you need help, email your request to [email protected]. Please be aware of your next due date and allow 3 business days for your request to be processed.

Can I order extra books before my monthly due date?

Yes, you can catch up with old photos and print extra books before the scheduled due date, as long as you have selected 100 photos – just select the Print Now button from the My Groovebook screen. Then follow the instructions to close early. We will ship your Groovebook out promptly and this will cost an extra $3.99 plus tax per additional book.

Does Shutterfly offer a similar mobile subscription service?

Shutterfly doesn’t offer any subscription services. Shutterfly does offer a “Free Instant Book a Month” program exclusively on the Shutterfly app. Create a free 6×6 hardcover book each month and just pay the shipping and handling costs. No subscription needed, just pay shipping and handling and enjoy your favorite memories each month. Or, if you’re interested in Prints, Shutterfly offers Unlimited Free Prints on the Shutterfly app. 4×4 and 4×6 prints are free – just pay shipping and handling.

What if I don’t want to use Shutterfly and Snapfish

We understand that everyone is going to make their own decisions about how to best share life’s joy. Shutterfly and Snapfish are two great options. 

When will I see my last charge from Groovebook? 

Groovebook will function as normal through April 8, 2022. Monthly charges will apply through that date to allow for final orders. No additional charges will be incurred after that time.

Do I need to cancel my account or will it cancel on its own? 

No, you do not need to cancel your subscription on your own. All Groovebook billings will end after April 8, 2022, so no additional charges will be incurred after that date. Access to the app will be discontinued shortly after that time when all subscriptions will be automatically cancelled.

What happens if I cancel my subscription now? 

Groovebook subscriptions will automatically be cancelled after April 8, 2022. If subscriptions are cancelled before this date your last book may not be produced.
